Gold Team escapes Violet Team in overtime win

The Gold Team bagged its first win in an overtime match against the Violet Team, 66-63, in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club


The Violet Team led the first half of the game, 27-21, to midway of the third quarter but Youki Miyanohara’s three-point shot at 5:50 tied the score at 32-32. Jason Mejares added 7 points to finish the quarter at 46-41 for the Gold Team.


The game intensified in the fourth quarter when the Violet Team reclaimed the lead, 54-52, with only one and a half minute left in the clock. Jason Guillermo managed to tie the score, 54-54, with a reverse layup at 0:04.


The match remained close in overtime but the two foul shots from Daryl Labong at 0:10 sealed the victory for the Gold Team. Guillermo was tagged as the game’s best player with 18 points.

Gray Team secures spot in semis

The Gray Team enters the semi-finals of Konsult Haus’ Basketball League after beating the Brown Team, 65-57, in a match on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Gray Team joins the Light Blue, Red, and Orange Teams which have already made their way to the semis earlier.


The Gray Team kept its lead throughout the game with 19-11, 29-21, and 40-38. Voltaire Santos was tagged as the game’s best player with 16 points. Jomark Lualhati and Mark Bauto added 14 and 11 points, respectively. Wilson Lobos chalked up 10 points, while Nonie Hersano and Johnson Pagayonan chipped in 6 points apiece.


The win improved the Gray Team’s record to 4-1 and placed second in the Bracket A team standings behind Light Blue Team. Meanwhile, the Brown Team took the sixth place with 0-5.

Black Team ends campaign in fourth place

The Black Team defeated the Yellow Team, 70-69, to end its campaign in fourth place with 2 wins and 3 losses in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club


The Black Team maintained a slim lead throughout the game with 23-18, 39-36, and 58-56. Jayrald Jordan was tagged as the game’s best player with 22 points while Jun Vistal and Shereb Falcutilla added 18 and 12 points, respectively.


Meanwhile, the Yellow Team ended its campaign in fifth place with 1 win and 4 losses.

Orange shoots down Red for solo first

The Orange Team beat the Red Team, 75-68, to sweep the five-game elimination round of Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Red Team opened up a 10-point lead, 22-12, which they expanded to 12 in the second quarter, 40-28. David Masigan and Teotimo Sulibit fired a total of 22 points to power the Orange Team and steal the lead in the third quarter, 58-54.


The match intensified in the fourth quarter as the Red Team took control once again, 59-58, at 8:30 towed by 3-point shot from Arnel Santos Jr. and a bank shot from Artemio Matienzo. But the Orange Team did not let the win to slip away, Ricardo Seraspe and Jeffrey Claud stepped up for the team and racked up 14 points to finish the game with a 7-point lead.


With the win, the Orange Team does not only solo the first spot of Bracket B team standings but also gains a twice to beat advantage in the semi-finals.

Dark Blue ends campaign with a win over White

The Dark Blue Team beat the White Team, 54-51, to end its campaign with a 2-3 record in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Celebrity Sports Club.


The White Team opened up a three-point lead, 12-9, but the Dark Blue Team managed to steal it in the second quarter, 29-24, thanks to flawless bank shots from Jeter de Cardo and Ricardo Yu. The Dark Blue maintained its lead in the third quarter, 38-33, but almost lost it in the fourth quarter when the White closed the gap to two with 1 minute left in the game.


A free throw shot from de Cardo improved the lead to three and sealed the win for the Dark Blue Team. de Cardo was tagged as the game’s best player with 29 points. Ricardo Yu and Christian Quiming added 11 and 6 points, respectively. Zeral Tadle chipped in 4 points while team captain Mark Belo and EJ Armas logged 2 points apiece.


While the Dark Blue fell short to semi-finals, Belo said the team was happy about their performances in the first round. More importantly, he noted that playing in the league has improved the bond and communication of employees with each other.

The Dark Blue Team beat the White Team, 54-51, to end its campaign with a 2-3 record in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Celebrity Sports Club.


The White Team opened up a three-point lead, 12-9, but the Dark Blue Team managed to steal it in the second quarter, 29-24, thanks to flawless bank shots from Jeter de Cardo and Ricardo Yu. The Dark Blue maintained its lead in the third quarter, 38-33, but almost lost it in the fourth quarter when the White closed the gap to two with 1 minute left in the game.

The Orange Team slipped past to semi-finals after the Violet Team was forfeited to play for having only three players in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Orange Team now joins the Red and Light Blue Teams which have already made their way to the semis earlier. The win towed the Orange Team’s record to 4-0, climbing to the top spot of Bracket B standings with the Red Team.


The Orange Team will try to kick the Red Team out for solo first in a match on September 21, Friday. The team who will emerge to the top will have a twice to beat advantage in the semis.

Dark Blue Team ends losing streak

​After three consecutive losses, the Dark Blue Team finally scored its first win over the Gold Team 85-63 in Konsult Haus' Basketball League on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Dark Blues maintained an insurmountable lead throughout the game 16-13, 45-19, and 73-43 to keep the Gold Team hunting of its first win.


JM Masigan was tagged as the game's best player with 26 points, while E. Sanoy put 11 points in the scoreboard. Ricardo Yu and J. de Cardo added 10 points each.


On Wednesday, September 12, the Violet and Orange Teams will go head-to-head in the basketball competition.

Bauto powers Gray Team to third win

​The Gray Team kept its semis hope alive after beating the Green Team 90-79 in Konsult Haus' Basketball League on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Grays finished the first half with a three-point lead, 43-40, and expanded it to 11 points by the end of the second half. Mark Bauto chalked up 33 points, the highest so far in the league, to power the Gray Team. Voltaire Santos and Wilson Lobos added 22 and 16 points, respectively.


The win towed the Grays record to 3-1; however, they would still have to beat the Brown Team to seal their spot in the semi-finals.

Red Team secures spot in semis

​The Red Team secured its spot in the semi-finals of Konsult Haus’ Basketball League after beating the White Team 59-52 on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Ariel Arimagao and Arnel Santos Jr. paced the Reds in the first half dropping a total of 23 points to take a five-point lead against the Whites, 31-26. Santos fired three three-point shots to expand his team’s lead to seven points in the second half.


Santos was tagged as the game’s best player with 20 points, while Arimagao chipped in 18 points.


The Red Team, with 4-0 record, is now one win away to sweep the first round of the league. They will wrap up the first round with a match against the Orange Team on September 21, Friday.

Ordonio tows Light Blue to fourth win

​The Light Blue Team extended its winning streak to four after routing the Black Team 72-52 on Monday, September 3, 2018, in Konsult Haus’ Basketball League at Celebrity Sports Club.


Manmar Ordonio dropped 18 points to power the undefeated Light Blue Team in the first half, 36-25. AJ Gedang held the fort in the last quarter firing consecutive three-point shots to cement the victory for the Light Blues. For the fourth time, Ordonio was tagged as the game’s best player with 26 points while Gedang chalked up 13 points.


The Light Blue Team will wrap up its first round with a match against the Yellow Team on September 17, Monday.

Orange Team downs White Team in a close match

The Orange Team handed the White team its first loss, 80-78, in a nail-biting basketball match on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The White Team suffered from penalties in the first half, which gave the Orange Team a leg up 31-45. The Orange kept up the momentum to finish the third quarter on its favor, 64-54.


In the fourth quarter, the crowd started to get wild when Ed Batara successfully drove a layup to create a one point lead against the Orange at 3:28 mark. But, Dranreb Tanawan quickly took it back with a bank shot while Ricardo Seraspe sealed the deal with split foul shots.


On Thursday, August 30, 2018, the unbeaten White and Orange Teams will go up against each other. With the win, the Orange climbed to the top spot of Bracket B’s team standings together with the Red Team at 3 wins and 0 loss.


On Monday, September 3, the Black Team will go up against the undefeated Light Blue Team.

Light Blue and Red Teams remain undefeated

The Light Blue and Red Teams now solo the top spots of Bracket A and B of Konsult Haus’ basketball league after routing their opponents on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Red Team clobbered the win-starved Gold Team, 81-44, in the first game of the night. The Reds did not give the Gold a chance to keep up as they maintained a wide lead throughout the game with 31-2, 46-10, and 64-24 scores from the first to third quarter. Arnel Santos Jr. was tagged as the game’s best player with 27 points.


Meanwhile, the Light Blue Team handed the Gray Team its first loss in the second match of the night. It was a tight game in the first half with Light Blues holding a slim lead against the Grays, 31-27. The Light Blue Team kept its foot on the gas to pull away with a 19-point lead in the third quarter, 51-32, and never looked back to finish the game with a 63-47 victory. Manmar Ordonio was once again tagged as the game’s best player with 17 points.


On Thursday, August 30, 2018, the unbeaten White and Orange Teams will go up against each other.

Black and Violet Teams get out of slump

The Black and Violet Teams finally got their first wins on Saturday, August 25, 2018, after weak performances on their first two matches in Konsult Haus’ basketball league.


The Blacks maintained an insurmountable lead throughout the game gaining an emphatic victory over the Browns, 61-41. Aaron Gedang was tagged as the game’s best player with 16 points.


Meanwhile, the Violet Team pulled off an upset against the Dark Blue Team 60-56. The Dark Blues kept a slim lead in the three quarters, 11-10 27-22 45-37, but lost it to Violet after a bank shot from Noel Capila with only 3:20 left in the fourth quarter. The split foul shots from Christian Dy and Crisanto Badidoy sealed the victory for the Violets. Dy led the team’s scorers with 25 points.


On Tuesday, August 28, the Gold Team will go up against the Bracket B leader Red Team back-to-back with Light Blue Team Vs Gray at Celebrity Sports Plaza.

Green Team holds off Yellow Team for a back-to-back win

The Green Team pulled off a back-to-back triumph after beating the Yellow Team 68-65 on Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Konsult Haus’ basketball league at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Yellows took the lead in the first quarter, 14-11, but lost grip by the end of the first half, 30-28. Marlon Siervo and Andre Gedang held the fort in the third quarter both firing six points to maintain the lead of the Greens, 52-48. The team then never looked back to finish the second half with a 3-point lead.


Gedang was tagged as the game’s best player with 20 points, while Siervo chipped in 16 points.


On Saturday, August 25, the Black and Brown Teams will go head-to-head to secure their first win back-to-back with the Violet Team Vs Dark Blue Team.

Gray overpowers Yellow to secure second win

The Gray Team held off the Yellow to snatch its second win, 52-44, in Konsult Haus’ basketball league on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Yellow Team started off at a disadvantage with only three players giving the Gray Team a leg up to own the first quarter, 20-7.


The Yellows, even with a complete number of team players by second quarter, was not able to keep up with the Grays which expanded their lead to 10 points, 27-17. In the end, the Gray Team took the victory with an 8-point lead. Wilson Lobos was tagged as the game’s best player with 22 points.


On Thursday, August 23, the Yellows will try to redeem themselves in a basketball match against the Green Team.


   Blue VS Orange


Sulibit seals second win for Orange Team

The Orange Team withstood a comeback attempt by the Dark Blue Team with a 54-53 win in a thriller on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


Ricardo Seraspe fired 10 of his 12 points in the first half, 25-34, to power the Orange while Teotimo Sulibit chipped in 9 points. The Dark Blues came close in the third quarter, 44-43, thanks to perfect free throws from Jeter de Cardo.


A bank shot from Ricardo Yu overtook the lead from the Orange Team at the start of the fourth quarter, but it was the two foul shots from Sulibit that sealed the victory for Orange. The win sends the Orange Team to the top spot of Bracket B standings with 2-0, together with the Red and White Teams.



   Green VS Black


Andre Gedang spoils Black’s comeback

The Green Team escaped the Black to seize their first win, 53-48, in an intense basketball match on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Blacks took hold of the game in the first half, 24-21, and tightened their grip on their slim lead through the third quarter, 39-34.


The Greens, however, managed to snatch the lead with only five minutes left in the fourth quarter thanks to Andre Gedang’s flawless layups and assists. Mark Volante was tagged as the game’s best player with 17 points, while Gedang chipped in 15 points. The Green Team now has one win and one loss.


On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the Gray Team will battle the Yellow Team back-to-back with the Dark Blue Team vs the Orange Team.

Light Blue dumps Brown for solo first

The Light Blue Team routed the Brown, 60-30, to take the number 1 spot in the Bracket A of Konsult Haus’ basketball league on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The consecutive three-point shots from Ian Santos and perfect bank shots from Manmar Ordonio powered the Light Blues to take the lead in the first half, 32-7. The team expanded the lead to 30 points in the fourth quarter to gain their second win. Ordonio was tagged as the game’s best player with 17 points.


On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the Gray Team will battle the Yellow Team back-to-back with the Dark Blue Team vs the Orange Team.

White Team joins Red in Bracket B top spot

The Whites beat the Gold Team, 58-40, to seize its second win Thursday (August 16, 2018) in Konsult Haus’ basketball league.


Michael Pamatian scored nine points for the Whites to secure a 10-point lead against winless Gold, 24-14, in the first half.


The Whites upped the ante in the second half expanding its lead against the Gold by 18 points. The White Team now joins the Reds in the top spot in Bracket B at two wins and zero loss.

On Saturday, August 18, the Light Blues will battle the Brown Team to gain its second win back-to-back with the Green Team vs the Blacks.

Orange Team crushes Gold to clinch first win

The Orange Team walloped the Gold on their debut basketball game, 83-63, on Thursday (August 9, 2018) at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Orange started the first half on a high note, 40-30, thanks to its tough defense and flawless layups from tandem Teotimo Sulibit and Ricardo Seraspe.


The Orange kept up the momentum in the second half to finally leave the Gold behind with a 20-point lead. Sulibit led all the team scorers with 18 points, while Seraspe chalked up 14 points.

On Saturday (August 11), the Yellow Team will battle the Brown Team back-to-back with the Green Team vs the Black Team.

   Violet VS White


Gray and White Teams score first win

The Gray Team and White Team both secured their first win on a back-to-back basketball match on Tuesday (August 7, 2018) at the Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Grays maintained an insurmountable lead throughout the game outplaying the Black Team, 58-53. Mark Bauto was tagged as the game’s best player after chalking up 21 points.


Meanwhile, the Whites clawed their way out to secure victory against the Violet Team in the second game, 51-45.


The Violets led the first half of the game, 20-18, but the Whites managed to tie the score in the third quarter, 35-35. The latter finally turned the table in the last quarter gaining a 6-point lead.


On Thursday (August 9), the Gold and Orange Teams will battle out to get their first win.



   Light Blue VS Green


Light Blue Team bags first win

The Light Blue Team started their basketball campaign on a high note after beating the Green Team 52-44 last Saturday, August 4 at the Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Greens started the game at a disadvantage with only three players but managed to tie the score 15-15 in the first quarter while the Light Blues leveraged on their number to gain a 3-point lead in the second quarter at 28-25, thanks to Manmar Ordonio’s perfect free throws.


The Greens, even with a complete number of team players by half time was not able to keep up with the Light Blues which expanded their lead to 7 points by the end of the third quarter at 41-34. In the end the Light Blues took the victory with an 8-point lead. Ordonio was tagged as the game’s best player with 21 game points.

On Tuesday, August 7, the Violet Team will battle the White Team back-to-back with the Black Team vs the Gray Team.

Gedang Group kicks off inaugural sportsfest

On August 2, 2018, Envirokonsult, Waterkonsult, BioWish, and the AVGedang Foundation kicked off their first Konsult Haus Sports Festival with the opening of the basketball league at the Celebrity Sports Plaza.


The Red Team led by President and CEO Anthony V. Gedang went head-to-head with the Dark Blue Team led by Mark Belo, Waterkonsult’s Technical Manager. The Reds seized their first win after beating the Dark Blue team with 51-40 score.


The official opening of the sports festival will be held on August 14 with more than 200 employees participating in basketball, volleyball, badminton, billiards, and bowling. The event will run until the first week of October.

According to Alexi Gedang, Human Resource Director, the sports festival aims to promote camaraderie and bring together the employees of the Gedang Group from its head office in Quezon City with its project management offices in Bay Plant (Laguna), FTI (Taguig City), and Dagat-Dagatan (Caloocan City).

Light Blue downs Green to place third in volleyball league

​The Light Blue Team bagged the third place in Konsult Haus’ Volleyball League after a 25-10, 25-22, 14-25, and 25-15 victory against the Green Team on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Jaymar Sagaral was tagged as the game’s best player with 20 points. JJ Macaya and Christian Bautista added 18 and 13 points, respectively. Rose Ann Bigol put 11 points in the scoreboard, while Allyssa Almazan and Ronald Abelida chipped in 9 hits apiece. Youki Miyanohara racked up 8 points while Manny Mesa added 1 point.


While the Light Blue did not bag the championship title, team captain Mesa said being able to get to know the employees better is already a big win for the group.

White sets up volleyball finals duel with Black

​The White Team enters the finals of Konsult Haus’ Volleyball League after a 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, and 25-17 victory against the Light Blue Team on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Ariel Arimagao led the White Team’s scorers with 23 points. Michael Saurin racked up 16 hits, while Conrad Soriano and Rose Ann Tablizo added 15 points apiece. Clark Guevarra and Caridad Molano chalked up 14 and 13 hits, respectively.


The White Team will face the Black Team in a race-to-three match on Thursday, October 4; before that, the Light Blue and Green Teams will compete on Wednesday, October 3, for the third place.

The Black Team enters the finals of Konsult Haus’ Volleyball League after a four-set victory against the Green Team 25-8, 23-25, 25-25, and 25-16 on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Reymund Cancejo led the team scorers with 23 points while Alexi Gedang added 18 points. Arnel Santos and Philip Lim chipped in 13 hits apiece. Camille Luna logged 10 points. Christian Quiming and Isagani Baculio both put 8 points in the scoreboard while Claude Sta. Clara scored 5 hits.


The Black Team swept the elimination round of the league with 4-0.

Light Blue Team foils White Team for solo second

Even with only five players, the Light Blue Team successfully pulled off a 25-23, 25-13, and 25-19 win over the White Team in Konsult Haus' Volleyball League on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Jaymar Sagaral stepped up with 23 points, while Christian Bautista added 12 hits. Manny Mesa and JJ Macaya chipped in 12 kills apiece, while Allysa Almazan logged 8 points.


With the win, the Light Blue Team successfully kicked out the White Team to solo the second spot of team standings with 2-1 record.

The Black Team kept the Green Team hunting of its first win after a 25-10, 25-23, 25-10 victory on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


For the second time, Alexi Gedang was tagged as the game’s best player with 14 points. Mel Santos added 12 hits while Isagani Baculio, Philip Lim, and Claude Sta. Clara chipped in 11 points apiece.

Black Team bags second win with sweep

The Black Team slipped past the Light Blue Team with a three-set sweep 25-22, 25-7, and 25-22 on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Konsult Haus’ Volleyball League at Celebrity Sports Club.


Alexi Gedang led the Black Team’s scorers with 19 kills, while Isagani Baculio and Mel Santos both chipped in 16 points. With the win, the Black Team now holds the top spot of the league’s team standings.


On September 6, Thursday, the Black Team will go up against the Green Team.

White Team spikers complete sweep

The White Team overpowered the Green Team to pull off a straight sets victory, 25-12 25-20-25-19, in Konsult Haus’ volleyball league on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


Mark Belo’s ace sealed the first win for the White Team. The Greens came close in the second set but lost after a service error from John David Francisco. Rene Espina tried to rescue the Green Team in the third set firing consecutive spikes, but the Whites flexed their defensive muscles to roof Espina’s attacks.


Belo was tagged as the game’s best player with 14 points. The White Team now has one win and one loss.

Sagaral serves first win for Light Blue Team

The Light Blue Team started its volleyball campaign on a high note after beating the Green Team with a three-set sweep 25-13, 25-16, and 25-14 on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Plaza.


Jaymar Sagaral delivered the winning shots for the Light Blue Team. Sagaral served an ace to own the first set and fired a spike to end the long rally in the final set.


On Saturday, August 25, the Green Team will go head-to-head with the White Team.

Saturday, August 18. After a two-set sweep 25-9, 25-20, Mel Santos and Isagani Baculio sealed Black’s win at 25-15 by serving numerous consecutive aces during the third and final set of this exciting match.

Red Team closes bowling tourney with come-from-behind win

The Red Team successfully erased a 23-point deficit in the first set to bag the championship title of Konsult Haus’ Bowling Tournament on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Red Team started weakly with only 559 pinfalls behind the Gray Team, 576, and Green Team, 582, but clawed its way back in the second set with 683 points thanks to six strikes from Arnel Santos Jr. The Green and Gray Teams scored 656 and 588 pinfalls, respectively.


In total, the Red Team knocked down 1242 pins followed by the Green Team, 1238, and Gray Team, 1164.

The Green, Gray, and Red Teams cemented their spots in the finals of Konsult Haus’ Bowling Tournament after scoring the highest pinfalls in the game 4 on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Green Team came in second place with 1083 pinfalls followed by Orange (1002), Red (1001), Light Blue (952), and White (951).The Green topped the game with 1208 pinfalls followed by Gray Team, 1104, and Red Team, 1092. The Light Blue Team bowed out of the competition after scoring the lowest pinfall, 1082.

Light Blue rules game 3, enters bowling semis

The Light Blue Team entered the semi-finals of Konsult Haus’ Bowling Tournament after scoring the highest pinfall, 1219, in game three on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Gray Team came in second place with 1203 pinfalls followed by Green (1193) and Red (1137). The Orange and White Teams bowed out of the game after scoring the lowest pinfalls with 1039 and 956, respectively.


The semi-finals of the tournament is scheduled on Tuesday, September 18.


   


Gray Team tops game two of bowling tourney

The Gray Team, led by Gedang Group President and CEO Anthony V. Gedang, carded 1134 pinfalls to outscore its competitors in the second game of Konsult Haus’ Bowling Tournament on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Green Team came in second place with 1083 pinfalls followed by Orange (1002), Red (1001), Light Blue (952), and White (951).


The Brown and Black Teams were eliminated after scoring the lowest pinfalls with 867 and 830, respectively.



   

   


Light Blue and Red Teams remain undefeated

The Light Blue and Red Teams now solo the top spots of Bracket A and B of Konsult Haus’ basketball league after routing their opponents on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The Red Team clobbered the win-starved Gold Team, 81-44, in the first game of the night. The Reds did not give the Gold a chance to keep up as they maintained a wide lead throughout the game with 31-2, 46-10, and 64-24 scores from the first to third quarter. Arnel Santos Jr. was tagged as the game’s best player with 27 points.


Meanwhile, the Light Blue Team handed the Gray Team its first loss in the second match of the night. It was a tight game in the first half with Light Blues holding a slim lead against the Grays, 31-27. The Light Blue Team kept its foot on the gas to pull away with a 19-point lead in the third quarter, 51-32, and never looked back to finish the game with a 63-47 victory. Manmar Ordonio was once again tagged as the game’s best player with 17 points.


On Thursday, August 30, 2018, the unbeaten White and Orange Teams will go up against each other.

Melissa Santos and Philip Lim enter the semi-finals of Konsult Haus’ Badminton Tournament after beating the pair of Joan Ordinario and Christian Quiming in the quarterfinals on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Santos-Lim outplayed Ordinario-Quiming with a 10-21, 21-15, and 21-15 scores.


Meanwhile, the tandem of Alexi Gedang and Ryoland Jimenez advances to the quarterfinals after an 18-21, 21-6, and 21-8 victory over the pair of Jonathan Matienzo and Angela Rawashdeh.




Pancho-Francisco, Guevarra-Molina exit badminton tourney

The tandems of John David Francisco and Carmela Pancho, and Clark Guevarra and Caridad Molano were eliminated in the second game of Konsult Haus’ Badminton Tournament on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The pairs were eliminated after losing two matches. Francisco and Pancho first lost to the tandem of Aaron Gedang and Buji Lastimoso (2-21, 5-21) then to Conrad Soriano and Rose Ann Bigol (11-21, 14-21). Meanwhile, Guevarra and Molano first lost to the pair of Princess Delos Santos and Joseph Lucindo (16-21, 21-14, 15-21) then to Diana Loprandado and Oliver Salentes (21-19, 19-21, 17-21).


The tournament’s third game is scheduled on Friday, September 7 with only 16 remaining pairs.

Macapagal rules batch 1 of pool competition

Allen Lyle Macapagal, Technical Assistant 2 with Waterkonsult Equipment and Services, Inc., successfully pulled off a comeback win against Roland Almendra, 7-4, in the finals of Konsult Haus’ 9-ball pool competition on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


The two first battled each other in the quarterfinals of winner’s bracket, where Macapagal lost in a cue ball scratch..


“Talagang ibang-iba ang laro ni Allen ngayon kumpara nung [quarterfinals], talagang lumabas yung tira niya eh,” said Almendra who works as sales engineer for BioWish.


“Nung [quarterfinals] parang inalat lang kasi dalawang tira ko sa nuwebe puro scratch, ngayon medyo binigyan ng suwerte kaya nakuha natin ‘yung panalo,” Macapagal added.


Meanwhile, the batch two of 9-ball competition also kicked off on Thursday. The winner of batch two will face Macapagal in a champions’ battle.

Macapagal advances to pool finals

Allen Lyle Macapagal, Technical Assistant with Waterkonsult Equipment and Services, Inc., advanced to the finals of Konsult Haus’ 9-ball pool competition after dominating the last round of elimination of the loser’s bracket on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Celebrity Sports Club.


Macapagal beat Manny Mesa (3-1) and Jordan Rotol (3-0) before advancing to the semi-finals, where he won by default against Alex Gedang.


Macapagal will face Roland Almendra once again in a race-to-seven competition. The two first battled each other in the quarterfinals of winner’s bracket, where Macapagal lost in a cue ball scratch.


The championship round of 9-ball pool competition is scheduled on September 6, Thursday.

Almendra secures spot in pool finals

Roland Almendra, Sales Engineer of BioWish, secured his spot in the finals of the 9-ball pool competition, Thursday, August 16, 2018, when he beat Alex Gedang, General Manager of Waterkonsult.


Alex almost tied the game in the seventh round but finally lost in a sudden death cue ball scratch. The game ended 5-3.


Gedang, on the other hand, joins the semis of loser’s bracket and will have one last chance to take a spot in the finals.

Breaking Barriers on Effective Communication:

Waterkonsult employees engaged themselves into another English Class on "Breaking Barriers on Effective Communication" c/o Account Manager Debbie Vizcarra Simsuangco.


The whole session focused on Communication, its process, and its types. For the enrichment activity, employees are grouped into 3 teams as they demonstrate communication through "Charades Game".


The English Classes supported by Waterkonsult aims to strengthen knowledge of effective communication for employees which they can use in their professional activities.
